Hi! My name is Nazuna and since a very young age I started with my yoga practice. When I was 7 years old, I travelled with my mother to Kerala, South of India, where I lived in an Ashram, learnt to respect nature and became exposed to the teachings of yoga
At 13 years old, I became a Yoga teacher at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre In Kerala (India) and also did my Advance Yoga Teacher Training in Quebec, Canada. Since then, I have been teaching yoga worldwide which has given me a lot of experience and the opportunity to meet people from all over the world.
Later I studied a postgraduate degree on ayurvedic medicine and nutrition which has given me a wider approach towards the importance of the physical, mental and emotional part of being. Yoga and Ayurveda are both sister sciences to balance mind, body and soul.
When I had my children, I realized the importance of the knowledge of yoga in our lives. How important it is to be able to have the necessary information to be able to conceive a healthy child at all levels and to be able to count on yoga, breathing, concentration, meditation, healthy and balanced eating as part of this process, so I became the author of the book “Ayurvedic baby Massage” to be able to accompany future parents during all this process.
I teach yoga for beginners, intermediate and advanced. Yoga during pregnancy, yoga for babies, post delivery yoga and personalised therapeutic yoga one to one. In all my yoga classes I include physical poses(asanas), concentration, breathing techniques(pranayama), relaxation(savasana) and meditation, which all together support stress management, mental health, mindfulness, healthy eating, weight loss and quality sleep.
Yoga is more than just a physical exercise; it is a holistic practice that can transform various aspects of your life. By integrating body, mind, and spirit, yoga offers profound benefits that can lead to lasting changes in one's lifestyle and overall well-being.
It is most gratifying when you see how the practice of yoga benefits people in so many ways and aspects and that is what I most enjoy!!
